Not supporting the Edmodo app

Last Updated: Sep 15, 2015 02:17AM BST

Because we are focusing on improvements of the core Blendspace experience, we no longer plan to support the Blendspace app inside the Edmodo platform. On September 17, 2015, we’ll remove the Blendspace app from the Edmodo. You will still be able to access your Blendspace account through https://www.blendspace.com by setting your email and requesting a new password.

How do I access the lessons I created through Edmodo on blendspace.com?

Before September 17, 2015:

You will need to set an email and password to access your account on blendspace.com by following these instructions:

  1. Launch your installed Blendspace app in Edmodo

  2. Click on the “setting email” link in the yellow bar

  3. In the modal, enter the email you wish to access blendspace.com with.

  4. Check your email for a “Request Password” email to set your password for blendspace.com

  5. Login to blendspace.com or use the Blendspace Bookmark app and use your set email and password to login.

After September 17, 2015:

You can request for a new password to be sent to you by our team by clicking on the “Contact developer” link inside Edmodo.

  1. Install and launch the Blendspace Bookmark Edmodo app

  2. Click the “Contact Developer” link in the upper right corner of the black bar.

  3. In the modal, tell us that you would like your password reset to the email of your Edmodo again

  4. A member of our team will be in touch

How do my students using Edmodo access my lessons on blendspace.com?

Your students can access your Blendspace lessons two ways:

  1. Post the link of your lesson inside your Edmodo class.

    1. You can find the lesson URL by going to Edit Mode on the lesson

    2. Click Share and copy and paste the URL inside of your class in Edmodo

  2. Giving students access to their Blendspace.com accounts

    1. When students launched the Blendspace Edmodo app, each student was given an unique username.

    2. You can find their username by going to “Classes” and clicking on “Manage”. On the “Manage” page, you will be able to reset your students’ passwords.

    3. Have your students login to Blendspace using these username and password on blendspace.com.

Are you ending Blendspace?

No! We are continuously improving Blendspace, and educators can access it just as easily as before on blendspace.com.  We have 500,000+ Blendspace teachers in over 70 countries and continue to build great classroom products for them. Want to share what you want to see more of? Drop us a line.

What is the Blendspace team working on?

Since our acquisition by TES Global, we’re working harder than ever on building web applications used by millions of teachers every month. We just launched our new marketplace specifically designed for teachers. Support fellow educators around the world by sharing and selling your original classroom resources!
